Anderegg
1959
It was a gutted '48 Chevy school bus that inspired Andy (Gaines) Anderegg's interest in vehicles. He drove the bus with a homemade seat and steering wheel from Chicago to Los Angeles without the benefit of tires. From there, he traded it in on 1950 Studebaker complete with a steering wheel, tires, and a seat.
